    Since October 2014 The British Training Board has been operating and conducting market research into the skills translation market. Since the launch in 2014, we have successfully helped 3657 (as Jan 2020) serving and Ex-military personnel to get recognition for the previous military and public services training and experience. (The research pilot finished on 30 September 2017).

    On the 5th October 2017, the Launch of the new British Training Board services included: one to one career coaching the skill translator service to “Shadow” their military job role, and to identify the skills gaps, provide an ongoing career development plan, designed to complement the role they are doing in the military.

    2018 saw the process being finalised and specialist military units using the service to gain higher level qualifications including Degrees from our Higher Education partners

    2019 the start of launch of various projects. There projects launched at a series of Launch events starting with the first event in the home of the British Training Board, Swansea on March 22nd 2019.

    2020 will see the first 3 Wellbeing hubs for Service Leavers, Veterans and their families being opened in Wales to begin
